Score Sevens reaches halfway mark. Excitement building up.

The Score WP Club Rugby Sevens tournament rolled into week 2 this weekend with some great weather and lots of fun by all.

Many of the teams are now starting find their groove as they shift from fifteen-man rugby to sevens, with the transition of the style of play most notable. Many players commented that they are now getting a feel for each other on the field, and quite a few mentioned that for them the day was more about the experience than the result.

Several of the usual suspects showed their merit. Belhar (Pool A ), Brackenfell ( Pool B ), Vics and False Bay ( Pool C ), and St Georges ( Pool D ) all maintained their unbeaten run with five wins from five matches so far.

The tournament has now reached the half way mark and will see two more weeks of round robin fixtures before going into the knock finals on 11 November 2017.
